ABC Therapy provides developmental, educational, and therapeutic services designed to help children reach their full potential. As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you will work with school-aged children to develop the skills they need to participate more successfully in the classroom and everyday activities.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate students to identify strengths, needs, and barriers to participation in the school environment.

• Provide direct occupational therapy services and consultations to school-aged students.

• Develop individualized treatment and intervention plans based on each student's needs and goals.

• Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and adjust interventions as needed.

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, school administrators, and other healthcare and educational professionals.

• Participate in Evaluation Team Report (ETR) and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.

• Recommend adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and classroom accommodations when appropriate.

• Supervise therapy assistants, as applicable.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with applicable school, state, and federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's or other qualifying degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program, as applicable to licensure requirements.

• Current Ohio Occupational Therapist license.

• Current NBCOT certification, as required.

• Ability to successfully complete a background check.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

• A genuine passion for helping children develop independence and reach their full potential.

• Pediatric or school-based occupational therapy experience preferred.
